Remutaka Rail Trail Cycle Tour
An easy day trip with an adventurous edge, this ride showcases the scenery and fascinating history of the Remutaka (formerly Rimutaka) Rail Trail. Admire pretty riverside scenes and waterfalls as you wind gently up through a lush, forested valley. Pass through five tunnels and across several notable bridges on your way between many other curious railway relics. You'll also enjoy a fun downhill with great views around every corner. Suitable for riders of most abilities, we offer two distance options (17km or 40km) on this classic, unguided Remutaka ride. Wellington pick-up included.

Two-day Tuffy
An achievable adventure for fitter cyclists, this tour sees you complete the full Remutaka Cycle Trail over two, approximately 60km days. Day one starts from our Petone base, from where you’ll follow the picturesque Hutt River up to the Rail Trail and over the Remutaka ranges to rural Wairarapa. Day two begins with a ride through strikingly beautiful countryside before the challenging but utterly spectacular section along the Wild Coast. Tour inclusions: two lunches, one dinner and breakfast, plus one night’s accommodation.

Three-day Remutaka Cycle Trail Adventure
